This custom-designed dash solution gives you the latest smartphone and entertainment features, all on an intuitive, 7-inch touchscreen. The dash kit replaces your factory radio and includes Jeep-specific wiring adapters that plug directly into your factory setup for plug-and-play installation.
The i407-WRA-JL allows you to use features on your smartphone while keeping your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and bluetooth hands-free calling and music streaming can be controlled with voice commands so you can access your phone calls, text messages, and more with a simple voice command on the included external microphone. Use your smartphone for third-party navigation apps like Google Maps or Waze.
The i407-WRA-JL “Works with Apple CarPlay” and lets iPhone users make and receive calls, access text messages, play music, and get directions in a way that allows them to stay focused on the road. Apple CarPlay is accessed through the capacitive touch screen or the mic button to activate Siri voice control and is compatible with iPhone 5 and later (iPhone must be connected via Apple lightning cable).
The i407-WRA-JL includes Android Auto and works with the Google Assistant (requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth® connection; requires an Android phone running 5.0 [Lollipop] or higher and the Android Auto app). To access the Google Assistant on Android Auto, say "OK Google" or select the mic button. Google Assistant in Android Auto allows users to play their favorite music, get driving directions to their destination, interact with smart home devices and reply to text messages – hands free.
Customize the screen exactly the way you want it by using drag-and-drop motions with your finger to add, remove, or move over 29 available widgets. You can prioritize your three home screens so you can quickly find the apps you want like Apple CarPlay, AndroidAuto, Camera, bluetooth functions, and more. Add a customizable wallpaper from your photos through a thumb drive.
Keep the factory controls you use the most, like voice-activated media player, bluetooth technology, and steering wheel controls with the included iDataLink Maestro Module. The iDatalink adapter can also integrate with the Jeep diagnostic port so select vehicle information like tire pressure, battery voltage, door status, engine codes, and user-customizable gauges can be monitored on the 7-inch touchscreen. The i407-WRA-JL also retains the factory backup camera with rear-guideline display.
While the i407-WRA-JL is mech-less (no CD/DVD player), you still have plenty of entertainment options that will make every drive exciting. A rear USB port allows you to listen to your music or video file via USB or connect by searching song title, artist info, or your smartphone to access your music album. The i407-WRA-JL has built-in HD Radio. SiriusXM Radio is also available with an optional SXV-300 tuner and paid subscription. And HDMI input is available should you choose to connect a CD or DVD player for all-digital audio and video connection through a single cable.
Retain the Alpine OEM Premium Amplified System with the KCX-F200INT premium audio interface. The KCX-F200INT is designed to retain the Alpine OEM Premium Amplifier when installing the i407-WRA-JL into the 2018–Up Jeep Wrangler and 2020–Up Jeep Gladiator. The KCX-F200INT mimics the signals from your Alpine OEM Premium Amplifier to retain the integrity of your system while upgrading the technology on your dash.
